Say hello to the UofG Welcome, Freshers' Week just got even bigger and better.

Traditionally, Freshers’ Week has been a time to welcome new 1st year students to the University with a week of fun events and activities. The past year has been incredibly difficult for everyone, and we recognise that it’s not just new students who need to feel welcomed at the University, it’s everyone!

That's why we've expanded Freshers' Week under the new banner of the UofG Welcome. From Freshers to Postgraduates, to returning 2nd years, to visiting international students: the UofG Welcome is all about creating an inclusive atmosphere for all students starting back at the University this September.

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) have worked alongside clubs and societies to create a programme of events and activities that includes the standard concentrated week of events (Sunday 12th – Friday 17th September) but also extends beyond to include a whole month of fun throughout September!

Below you can browse events, sign up for free tickets, and opt-in to receive reminders about future Welcome events.

We can't wait to welcome you this September!
